PENGALAMAN MEMBELI POSKAD DI MALAYSIA YANG MENCABAR DAN PENUH MUSLIHAT

MPH bookstore, Senai Airport.

FOREWORD. This blog is only for postcard activities. The main photojournal is still available HERE.

The title says, "my experience buying postcard in this country where I live is quite challenging and tricky."

The cheapest postcards I can find is at Ampang park, at 80 sen per piece. At Central Market, the price is RM1 per postcard. Last weekend I found out that the postcards were sold at RM1.27 at Senai Airport. But the design and arts of the postcards are typical to those of KL.

While it's easier to find postcards in Kuala Lumpur area, it's quite hard to find them at other places. Furthermore, it's difficult to find states postcards at the moment. I just need time to study and do some researches. Currently I am looking at Negeri Sembilan and Johor's postcards.

Last month, I found quite old local postcards were displayed at RnR Pagoh, some were sold at RM5 per pack of eight pieces. I bought few of them and some were sent to postcrossers all over the world. So far, I think they like it too.

I also called few national Tourism Malaysia offices and facebooks but none of them keeping the postcards with them anymore. Even some of them told me to check by myself on tourist spots around the country. What the fish!

  3. Agree! Seharian pusing kawasan Alor Setar untuk dapatkan poskad. MPH, Popular - none. Last sekali jumpa dekat Hasani bookstore. Tapi, macam awak cakap, that typical KL postcard. Masih mencari poskad yang beridentitikan Kedah sempena Discovery Kedah 2016.

  6. Disebabkan sudah tiada lagi banyak pilihan poskad, akhirnya saya memilih jalan terakhir iaitu menjelajah beberapa negeri di Malaysia dan merakamkan beberapa gambar menarik untuk dijadikan poskad.

Jika saya ingin membeli poskad, biasanya saya beli online sahaja.
